Following the standard version of Android 11, Google has released a special version of the operating system for budget and low-power smartphones – Android 11 Go Edition. By the way, this is the third generation of Android Go, since the first such edition was presented back in 2018 based on Android 9.
Android 11 Go will be available on all new smartphones with at least 2GB of RAM. According to representatives of the corporation, Android 11 Go will increase the speed of launching applications by about 20% compared to last year’s version of the system based on Android 10. As in the standard version of the platform, its version for budget devices has a single section for managing chats in the proprietary application “Alert Center”. This will help the user to simplify the task of viewing and managing messages, as well as sending responses to them.
In addition, the developer has introduced a number of new functions for the security system, which will allow owners of gadgets to more easily control how and at what time information from their devices is transmitted to other sources.
